Semi-automatic Stretch-Blow Molding Machine Introduction:

MS series semi-automatic stretch-blow molding machine is suitable for producing PET plastic containers and bottles. Semi-automatic stretch-blow molding machine is widely used to produce the carbonated bottle, mineral water, carbonated drink bottle, pesticide bottle oil bottle cosmetics, wide-mouth bottle etc.

Stretch-Blow Molding Machine Advantages:

Adopting double crank to adjust mould ,heavy locking mould, stable and fast, Adopt infrared oven to heat the perform, the perform rotated and heated equally.
The air system has been divided into two parts: pneumatic action part and bottle blow part to meet the different requirements for the action and blow. It can provide sufficient and steady high pressure for blowing large irregular shaped bottles.
The semi-automatic stretch-blowing machine is also equipped with muffler and oiling system to lubricate the mechanical part of the machine.
The blow molding machine can be operated in the step-by-step mode and the semi-auto mode.
The blow molding system is small with low investment, easy and safe to operate .

Stretch-Blow Molding Machine Features:

The operation part of blow molding machine is located at main blower, easy to access. On operation panel, two pressure gauges, one touch screen are located. All settings, production information, alarm info. indicated on touch screen, easy and simple. Un-skilled worker can handle.
Well designed air route, safe with separate high pressure system for blowing and low pressure system for machine motion.
Easy to change mold. For change bottle designs, just change blow mold. The machine is small with low cost, easy and safe to operate. And it meets requirement of water, beverage bottle producer in urban and countryside.
Simple installation & startup adjustment.
Reject rate of final bottles is less than 0.2%.

A: This blow molding machine is designed to handle PET bottles from 50ml (e.g., sample vials, shot bottles) up to 5 liters (e.g., water jugs, edible oil containers). With quick-change molds and adjustable stretch rods, it accommodates a wide range of neck finishes and body shapes.

Q: Can it process recycled PET (rPET)?

A: Yes! The machine supports up to 100% food-grade rPET, provided the preforms meet drying and IV (Intrinsic Viscosity) requirements. We recommend:
Drying rPET preforms at 150–160°C for 4+ hours,
Using an IV booster if needed for large or carbonated bottles,
Note: High rPET content may require fine-tuning of heating and blowing parameters.

Q: How long does mold changeover take?

A: With a quick-clamp mold system and standardized interfaces:

Full mold change (including stretch rod & heater adjustment): 30–60 minutes,
Same-family size change (e.g., 500ml → 750ml): 15–25 minutes.

Optional auto-teach-in systems can reduce setup time further.

Q: Is the machine suitable for carbonated drinks (CSD)?

A: Yes—with proper preform design and process control.
For carbonated beverages:
Use thicker preforms with higher base weight,
Optimize stretch ratio and blow pressure (up to 40 bar),
Ensure base cup design meets stress-crack resistance standards,
