Automatic Stretch-Blow Molding Machine Introduction:

Automatic stretch-blow molding machine is economical model which self-developed by LUYE MACHINERY technical team, with feature economic, fast, convenient. Automatic stretch-blow molding machine can make different kinds of PET package for water, edible oil, juice, wine, cosmetics, etc. It can make max. 2Litre bottle.

Blow Molding Machine Components:

1. Upgrade to Servo Motor Drive:

Preform Transfer System: preforms horizontal movements are driven by Servo Motor. Make preforms 4pcs/6pcs as one unit, overall simplified stepping motion, achieve high-speed positioning and smooth motion. To complete one step cycle, the Servo Motor drive gear rotate only one-third of a turn. Speed of preform moving is 2 times of Cylinder Driven way.

2. Mold fixing by Drawer Design.

Push the mold, fix the positioning screws. Mold changeover work can be easily done in half hour.

3. Efficiency Constant Temperature Oven:

The most advanced high frequency Infrared Lamp, increase heating efficiency 30%－50%.
Each layer of lamp are separately controlled, with assistant ruler on machine.
Intelligent temperature control system.
Temperature detector feedback to PLC automatically, PLC makes accurate judgment and then control circulation air in oven. It leads to constant temperature in Oven, free from voltage fluctuations and ambient temperature. It works when large ambient temperature difference (-28~45 ℃).
Preform self-rotation System, ensure every side of every preforms are heated evenly, which ensure quality of blown bottle.
Neck Cooling in Oven.
Preform Necks are cooled by recycling water, which avoid neck deformation.

Q: What bottle sizes can this blowing machine produce?

A: This blow molding machine is designed to handle PET bottles from 50ml (e.g., sample vials, shot bottles) up to 5 liters (e.g., water jugs, edible oil containers). With quick-change molds and adjustable stretch rods, it accommodates a wide range of neck finishes and body shapes.

Q: Can it process recycled PET (rPET)?

A: Yes! The machine supports up to 100% food-grade rPET, provided the preforms meet drying and IV (Intrinsic Viscosity) requirements. We recommend:
Drying rPET preforms at 150–160°C for 4+ hours,
Using an IV booster if needed for large or carbonated bottles,
Note: High rPET content may require fine-tuning of heating and blowing parameters.

Q: How long does mold changeover take?

A: With a quick-clamp mold system and standardized interfaces:

Full mold change (including stretch rod & heater adjustment): 30–60 minutes,
Same-family size change (e.g., 500ml → 750ml): 15–25 minutes.

Optional auto-teach-in systems can reduce setup time further.

Q: Is the machine suitable for carbonated drinks (CSD)?

A: Yes—with proper preform design and process control.
For carbonated beverages:
Use thicker preforms with higher base weight,
Optimize stretch ratio and blow pressure (up to 40 bar),
Ensure base cup design meets stress-crack resistance standards,
